he was totally talented (and hot lol, but that's irrelevant i guess) and yeah, it just sucks, for the amazing career he had ahead of him, and his family, and first of all his daughter...she's not even 3 years old and just lost her dad to a bunch of pills.
fuck, these moments show me why i decided to be drug-free.

They're not completely sure it was drugs, though, at least not from what I read. I heard mention of prescription drugs, which could mean anything from abuse to suicide to a fatal drug interaction (a la Bruce Lee).

It's so sad, though. Monster's Ball was one of my favourite films, and I've loved the guy since "10 Things I Hate About You". Blah. :(

yeah. i've had a chance to read up on this since and it looks like he'd been having issues with insomnia since filming batman and probably accidentally overdosed on a combo pack of sleeping pills.

eck. if he was having that much of a problem sleeping he was probably suffering from undiagnosed depression...
