It is difficult to see Regina so nice. I really think she has a horrible past but often we only can catch few seconds where she doesn't wear her mask. Still it is interesting to see a more open Regina and I love how you definite her and Davids friendship.

You're right, it is weird seeing a nicer Regina but I unfortunately haven't mastered her meanness or coldness yet. So I tend to write her in softer settings so as not to fall flat, with her mean persona.

an interesting story; I think the show's been trying to keep us from thinking about them as friends (to any degree of friendship)...but you countered that artfully.
