Here we go again. We always seem to fight on nights he goes out with his friends. And it's not even about that because I know they make him really happy and he always comes back in a good mood after being with them. So why would I get upset he's going out? Who knows. Part of me thinks I'm a controlling bitch who won't let anything happen

It's understandable that you want to be with him when he is out with friends. But one thing both people need within the structure of a relationship is their own space. Sarah and I have realized that and things are great. If I want to hang with my friends, it's cool. If she wants to hang with hers, it's cool. We realize we can't be with each other 24/7, and we wouldn't want to be. You would probably get sick of each other after awhile. I don't know if this makes sense, maybe it's none of my business. Eric is a friend. I wouldn't say you are controlling, and are definitely not a bitch. You just need to give him some space, and at the same time find your space as well.

Thanks it helps a lot. But my space is that of sitting at home by myself because I don't really have anyone else besides him. Which isn't good. I should probably work on that.
