it's a collection of photos this guy found from one guy in the late 1800's/early 1900s in wisconsin interspersed with crazy news articles from the same time...lots of pictures of stuff like that, dead victorian babies, etc...
lame, but static-x actually named one of their cd's after it..
that stuff fascinates me too. i've actually been tossing around the idea of naming my solo projects' album 'memento mori'

I have that Victorian photo book on my amazon wish list....or did I get it?? I can't remember, argh! I think that was the one I didn't get yet. I can't get enough old pictures of dead people apparently!

Meant to say, if you're into green eyeshadow, you should get to the Body Shop. They've got this killer one that looks like emeralds if you brush it on over black eyeliner. Never seen anything so truly green and sparkly for the eyes.
