Blaise sighed and folded his fist under his chin. It had been nearly an hour and a half since Hermione had left to fight her fight. Himself--he wasn't for the Death Eaters but he wouldn't be jumping to aid his girlfriend's side, unless she was in danger, of course. That was about it, Blaise stayed home where he believed he should be.

He knew Hermione was taking a risk. A big risk. Her life was on the line and if Potter and Weasley failed to help her quickly enough after she delved herself into something, she'd be dead. He wasn't a Death Eater, but he knew plenty and knew precisely how they worked. It was no mystery. The moment they saw her and realized she wasn't a Death Eater, they would kill her.

Blaise tried to keep Hermione home for the first few months and she obliged only to appease him. He knew that; he knew her. But it was a lost hope, once Hermione left, Blaise would just sit home and worry. "Don't worry, Blaise." She'd tell him. "Please don't worry." But he would. He loved her, it was only natural for him to worry about her in life threatening situations.

He cracked open a book and began to read, trying to drown his pessimistic thoughts in a romantic novel, but within a chapter of the book he tossed it to the floor and folded his arms with a sigh. He missed her terribly. He knew she was thinking of him, but she actually had something to consume her time, although not positively, and he didn't.

Risks. He thought about Hermione's risks. She was risking her life. Blaise knew that. But he trusted her. After all, it was her life.
