Summary: Aiba sings. Shirota comments. And then they perform a duet.
The sound of moderately off-key melody fills the four coursers of the training hall and you find your eyebrows twitching at what could remotely be called sound. You no longer need to turn your head to the directing of the sound - you could very much recognize that tone and voice, thank you very much. And for a singer like you, for a vocal artist like you, singing off-tune is more than something that could cause a small slight. It is sacrilege.
So when your body moves almost instinctively and your feet lead you to the source of the sound, you are surprised and amazed at the same time. And when your feet stop moving and the only thing that separates the two of you is a fragment of time, your lips move and you speak of what seems to be a lifetime's length of incoherent statements - it even seems as if you've lost your articles.
Then you see his lips curve up in smirk and you feel you heart beat triple-time as he moves closer to you, and you are only a second away from him.
Dork - he almost laughs as he lets out his statement and your eyebrows furrow in confusion. He then turns around and pauses just as you recover from a mild state of shock. He sticks his tongue out and runs away even before your feet take off, acting on pure instinct. And then he laughs.
Now that is the most beautiful song you've ever heard.
