“You fix this mess.” He doesn’t exactly know what Onyu means, what with the leader’s garbled speech at one in the morning. He has just woken up from his nap and he isn’t exactly in the most convenient of positions - his head that used to be resting on one of the pillows is already on Onyu’s feet, Key’s arms sprawled somewhere near his own. He blinks twice. “I said you fix this mess.” He doesn’t have enough time to ask how because Onyu promptly falls asleep even before he could part his lips.
This is definitely called karma.
It takes him a while before he manages to get himself out of the mess (he needs to or else he wouldn’t be able to, as Onyu placed it, fixcarry the youngest; Taemin is too heavy) to the couch, prop a pillow under Taemin’s head and steal one pillow for him from the pile on Taemin’s feet. He sticks a tongue out at Onyu - Onyu wouldn’t see, anyway - before snuggling against the pillow and going back to sleep.
Onyu wakes them all up at six in the morning, but Taemin retorts and asks for another five minutes. Five minutes turn into thirty and eventually into another thirty, and when he hears footsteps that could only belong to Taemin, he doesn’t bother to look at person who pulls the chair beside him. “I woke up on the couch.” Taemin’s statement is garbled at first and he hears the latter repeat it. “I woke up on the couch.” He chuckles almost inaudibly, stands from his seat to get him some hot water for his tea. “You were too heavy. And the bedroom was too far.” He rummages through the tea bags in the small container beside the refrigerator. When he goes back to his seat, he makes sure to ruffle Taemin’s hair - he should earn a response anytime soon. “You sleep like a log.” He hears Taemin scowl, sees Taemin rest his forehead on the table and let his arms fall to his sides. He takes a sip from his tea.
He should try sleeping on the floor tonight.
