Knife fights, cocaine and Clydesdale horses...

Bad day. Bad, bad, bad...

First, the good points: I got a new album, Nouvelle Vague. I saw a friend today I hadn't seen in ages. And policemen riding Clydesdales showed up at my school. Yes. To "crack down" on the racial "tension" we've been having. Apparently, more cops = a happy, safe and unviolent campus. Sure, because that makes sense. One of my ( Read more... )

Weirdly, although my hs was really racially diverse, all the gun/knife/sword (ok, we never had a sword) fights tended not to be about race. More often within one race on something gang related. God that sounds rough. I'm so sorry. I just can't imagine guns in school and as for the principal - I hope he gets the sack.

Oh, he's had the sack. The sack hit him around the face a few times for good measure. I almost feel sorry for him, he was a nice enough guy, and now he's stuck in jail with no chance of bail pending trial... But still. Cocaine, man. That's just not on.

Thanks for the concern. Honestly, though, I'm really not too broken up about it. And the foreign exchange students are going mad with glee.

Thanks. :)

The principal was caught by the police. He happened to also be drunk and was driving erratically; when they pulled him over, they noticed that he was waaaay too far gone for simple intoxication... and he was hiding a little white baggie in his mouth... Argh! What an interesting year this has been.
