OI! Don't bring Billie into this. She didn't do her own make-up and THAT'S how some teenage girls do it (I knew some like that, there isn't a thing as TOO MUCH in their repertoire), plus she had to look younger (like 19) and it worked. AND she still looked great and NOT tarty..
*Tsks* so yeh. *grumbles* rubbishing my fav companion, the cheek!
*clears throat*
But to be fair I was thinking some of the same things, especially JEFF with his computer (needing to CLEAR his internet history!). It's less pandering to the family crowd and more like a normal show. Which is great I wish Merlin would do that and DW did feel different, a good different, at least to me.
A kiss-o-gram girl who dresses as - a policewoman, a nurse, and A NUN . . . .What? People have a problem with that? Of course they do :P People like to complain its Human Nature.
Sorry, sorry! *ducks rotten veg* I didn't mean to have a go at Billie, tbh it didn't really bother me that she had make up on and you're right, thats what girls that age do look like. I just think its a bit silly for these people to go shouting about how Amy was slutty when the short skirt thing was the only thing that was remotely slutty about her. It seems these people have more of a problem with the fact that she's pretty than anything else.
I LOVED the Jeff stuff- it was implied rather than overt so it'd go straight over kids' heads and yet adults can sit and giggle. Thats exactly what we need, IMO.
I can see the problem with the skirt, when I saw the first pics of them filming I was like OMG what have they done to DW! What kind of policewoman IS she?! But its a costume and its not like she's traipsing around the universe in it . . .
So they'll just have to find something else to complain about next week. And I look forward to finding out what :D
It's weird, I found that I ♥ Jeff (for as far as I can tell) no reason. I just found him amusing and I want to see him again.
I love it when Kids/family shows/movies put stuff in there for the older crowd. Makes me feel included and wanted as an audience.
Nice vid, I can see your point about her being sexy though. Although I still wouldn't say its leaps and bounds about what the previous companions have been like. Hell, David Tennant alone fulfilled the Who sexy quotient:
I thought this was so funny, people will always find something to complain about. Yeah her skirt was a little short and she spend most of the time pulling it down but it wasn't that bad. And she was a kissogram for God sake, not a stripper! Some people!
You're right, I remember a few months ago when they were complaining "Doctor Who is anti-ginger!" I swear most of these people don't even watch the show. If they did, they wouldn't complain about stupid things like that.
Hey, I LOVE MARTHA TOO! *whispers* I actually liked her a lot better than Rose. (I keep that on the downlow as theres the very real danger of being hung, drawn and quartered for that opinion).
How could anyone hate Amy? She's brilliant. And her sat on her suitcase as a little girl? Just about BROKE MY HEART! I was on her side from that scene alone.
There is no whispering here. I love Martha SO MUCH MORE than I ever loved Rose. That does not mean I do not love Rose, I do, I just prefer Martha to her.
Amelia on the suitcase. Omg, I wanted to hug her. I love that she was just so ready to go! Coat - check. Gloves- chek. Hat- check. Packed suitcase - check! Lol.
Wow, I'm very impressed by your bravery. I'm a coward. I usually just meep my feelings from the sidelines. I shall take heart from your strength of conviction!
Actually, thats a good point you make. Moffat must've known that kissogram at family prime time on a Saturday would be contraversial to a certain extent. It is very brave, I like that. I can't help but think there must be a point to him doing that- apart from just making Amy different.
No, there isn't. Oh no she has a short skirt! Run for the hills! I hate the people who make these stupid comments- they aren't professional reviewers or even fans, they're just sad people who only watch TV to pick holes in it. /rant :D

Well, your lucky. . . it appears I'm fresh out of rotten vegetables, so I guess I'll just have to graciously accept your apology :DDD
Have you watched this?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIm3bFgJEBI

I love Jeff too! I think its something to do with his completely blank and clueless expression. I've got a feeling he's going to become a Sir Leon figure of awe, lust, and hilarity. The universe could do with more Sir Leons.
Have you see How To Train Your Dragon? Thats sort of like that, its CGI animation so its officially "for kids". Except me and my friend sat and giggled all the way through it because it was snarky and wonderful.

Besides after being a Martha fan and having her torn apart by just about everyone, I have built a very thick skin.
BRING ON THE AMY/KAREN HATE SHE IS STILL MORE FAB THAN YOU COULD EVER HOPE TO BE!
