Strange, I had suspected that Tonks had a thing for Lupin all along, maybe at the time I was reading into it too much but now I feel that I wasn't.

I didn't actually cry when he died, I admit... It took me until Harry recalled some of Dumbledores first words: Nitwit oddment blubber tweak, at that the tears flowed.
The seventh book will be so different without Harry being at school, it was really unexpected, really really! I feel this is possibly the best book so far in some ways, because it was so different from the rest.

I didn't really cry when DD died, having expected it, but he came off as very sympathetic to me - a man who probably knew he was dying, that's what I felt when reading the scenes between Harry and DD, who was more grandfatherly to Harry than in the previous books.

Though I don't really mind the Lupin/Tonks ship, it was a bit unexpected and I don't recall reading anything (in OotP) that might have hinted that she was attracted to him. musesfool did comment that it came out of left field - as much as I love waving the puppy flag high, I kind of like Lupin and Tonks together, too (besides, there's always AU fics, anyway). I love my werewolf pervy, nyah :p.

Another thing that came totally out of left field for me was Harry/Ginny. I had expected them to end up together, but where the hell was the build up?! Out of the blue, Harry feels a monster in his stomach? Right.

Yes we can never argue that a lot of Remus IS a good thing, I might be brave enough to try a fan fic again... I've been exploring the possibilities of Remus and his time among the werewolves since I read the mention of it in the book. There is plenty of spin-offishness to it. I need my Remus fix haha.

Agreed, there is no such thing as too much Remus in a single book :p I'd find it interesting to read something about Remus and the time he spent underground with the werewolves, but it'll probably be very dark and bleak, though, since I can't imagine it being any other way. And in HBP, Remus gives the impression that it was the last place he wanted to be, only doing it because it was "a job", and he needed one and it was on DD's orders.
