The producers took a risk putting an alpha in the group, but alpha exposure in the media had been increasingly trendy and Harry was sweet for an alpha. They always said it like that -- sweet for an alpha. Polite for an alpha. Smart for an alpha.Epic gratitude and

I absolutely loved this 'verse and how this society painted alphas as the degenerates with no self control instead of omegas, as per usual in typical a/b/o fics. I love, love, love how you went and did your own 180 flip of how the trope is usually carried out (!!!!!)
Also, a lot of the times in a/b/o you lose the characters in their roles/set-out dynamics like if you swapped names with completely different characters in a completely different fandom the fic characterization would be exactly the same so long as you keep the alpha/or the omega the same. But that wasn't the case here, you kept in tact their personalities so well I almost thought this was canon for a sec lol \o/ Like, how Harry was still so tactile and how much he needed to be loved and included and how caught up in Louis because how affectionate he was with him even though he was an alpha. And your Louis was glorious. He was bossy, so affectionate, and totally in control of him and Harry's whole dynamic even ( ... )

It was really well written too (tho that didn't surprise me, I remember enjoying your stories back in bandom days), a lot of world building & details set up throughout with just a few words (you're really good at that, some ppl need paragraphs of long explanations whereas you're all about 'show, don't tell').
I also really appreciated the microaggressions from ppl who mean well but still fall short, especially that scene with liam, too many ppl wouldn't think to do that, thinking you have to be blatantly hateful to hurt.
Basically, this story was hard reading but in the best way possible. I'm still gonna go hug something tho bcs ouch.
