New kitties settling in

The new kitties are settling in, though we have them in their rabbit cage because Uncle Eric is still not too sure about them. He ignored them better this afternoon than he did yesterday, but he's still not to the point where I trust him alone with them, unless the kittens are locked up. Yes, Tomtin is our little Iggy clone and Kobolt looks just like Siggy, except his personality is very playful and hyper-alpha. Tomtin is very sweet and beta (he's also the youngest) and Disa is a real drama queen already. She growls at the others if they get near HER food dish and she can make enough noise for three grown cats when her will is thwarted. I'm not surprised she survived being abandoned, she has that survivor streak a mile long. Wolf checked there were no other kitties at the laneway and the milk left was un-touched so where ever Disa's mother and siblings are its not nearby. If Disa had any siblings, she plays by herself like an only kitten but is learning to play with the boys.

Yes, its a very wonderful surprise! I was amazed he let little Disa play with his tail without growling at her. Eric still worries me, but he's calming down. I think having the babies in a cage where he can see them, smell them but they are no in his face is helping.

Still, he's not going to be left alone with them for a long while yet, if ever. Once he started doing a Freya with a screw loose imitation that was it; that's the "insanity" that runs in that line of Main Coons, Freya's mother was retired from showing for it and Freya lives by herself because of it. Quite a few of Valkeria's kittens and grand-kittens seem to have it, so I know to not expect cats that have it to act like normal cats.
