on the way to school the other day, heaven is a place on earth by belinda carlisle started playing on 100.3 and i instantly regressed to the age of 14. i loved the belinda carlisle when i was 14. not when she was with the go-gos, but when she had branched out and did her own thing. i had that album memorized. i wanted to BE belinda carlisle. yeah.

my mom and grandmother suffer from a bit of arachnafobia, but not me... when i was little, i'd catch the little buggers and wrap 'em up in tissue paper and stuff the wadded critters into the front pockets of my oshkosh jeans... and when my mom would empty out my pockets before doing the laundry, she'd unravel the tissue surprise and screammmm! wondering how her daughter could turn out to be such a boy like that.... hahahaha... good times.
water fights are the best... especially in the summer.
