How awesome is Beck? Not only does he release a new album on my birthday (see also: Radiohead - Kid A) but he releases an album with DIY artwork! The album comes with a plain cover that you can decorate with the stickers provided inside. Awesome hey?

It is awesome! However I feel too nervous about making my cover because I don't trust my stickering/art skills. The DVD is nice too, even if it's not as polished as the Guero one.

I do hope that Beck moves past using his previous releases as the inspiration for his new releases. It is fun to whatch him re-explore older ideas and sounds, but after Guero and The Information I really hope he brings something new to the table next time.
