That locking thing should have been removed by the people at the store. They have a machine that does it quick smart. If it's the same one I'm picturing. Perhaps take it back there to get it removed?

i'm not sure what is it's what you mean, but the DVDs at my shop come with a long plastic security tag that goes into the gap where you'd stick your fingers to open the case, which, like the person above me said, should be removed at the store.

if it's different to that then I don't know.

The security tab thingys from the store need to be removed with a magnet, or if they get left on, you can remove them with some scissors and a pair of tin snips.

1. Remove paper liner (the thing with the movie cover printed on it)

2. Use to scissors to cut small square hole in the thin plastic cover that holds the paper bit in. this hole should be positioned over the circular clip thingy that you clip the dvd into.

3. Use tin snips to gradually cut through the plastic security tab. It's very very hard plastic, so this can take a few minutes

4. I think that's everything, I haven't tried this since last Christmas. This method also leaves the case almost unharmed, apart from the small plastic cut-out.
