Finally Settled In/Cupcakes

Flight was fine (except for the maximum-seat-reclining man with bronchitis in front of me), weather is fabulous, first hotel was not. There's just no "converting" a smoking room to a non-smoking room, and the efforts of the staff to do so only gave me a splitting headache and a sore throat. Plus, the room was just plain gross. It was so gross

Note to my Chicago peeps: in the Hemispheres magazine I read that on Saturday nights from 9pm to 11pm, the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago has a Cupcake Buffet with a bunch of fancy-schmancy cupcakes (e.g. coconut tres leches; a double-decker Boston cream pie; and a hazelnut praline) for $18. I say we confirm that this is still happening and go forth to sample this miracle for ourselves! Who's with me?
