Here's a question: do you prefer the term "nursing" or "breastfeeding"? Or either? I used one of them recently and the person replied with the other, and it made me think. I didn't know the person well enough to ask, but I wondered whether it was a "thing".

Interesting question! I use both terms, but I decide which to use, by the company in which I'm using it - when talking to a man that isn't Derrick, or Ruth's doctor, I tend to use "nursing" because I'm a prude and don't want the guy thinking about my boobs. Everyone else (and those that I'm trying to offend or shock ie. Derrick's brother) I use breastfeeding. Weird? Likely!
