From my old journal memories:
1. Find a sentence / stanza / paragraph from a book / poem / what have you that you adore.
2. Write it out, along with the name of the source and the author's name, using your usual handwriting (and for extra points, your favourite pen)
3. Scan it / take a picture of it / etc. and post it in the comments.
4. Copy this

I might do this meme as well, even though most of the excerpts I adore are less than a line long (Nietzsche, I'm looking at you. Yes, you).
The excerpt on the bottom reminds me of many things - maybe it's because it's in the style of most authors I read and like :x. I can't guess at all though, I was going to guess Ogawa, but then I realised that she doesn't really write about deserts, does she? :x I'm stumped.
And btw... I guess you're not doing Nanowrimo? Too busy, methinks? D:
