It was safe to say Zelos didn't like the cold. When he was back at home, he'd often move away from home for a few months just to avoid winter. So this ice in the middle of spring? He didn't like it.

Of course, that didn't keep him from poking around it for some sort of an explanation. The thing he hadn't been expecting to see was Danny on the ground. He nearly steps on him, pauses, and frowns down at him before giving him a gentle nudge with his foot. Yes he is the kindest with these things.

"Hey, kid, you all right?"

"How is that supposed to help?"

"You're serious?" He's back to seeming like he could care less, already... "Determination and confidence are key to controlling anything! Don't think so much. If you follow my advice, you'll have all of the ladies at your feet!"

A pause.

"And I guess it could help your power, too."

...Seriously? He was seriously considering taking advice from a guy like this?

With a groan Danny realizes that he is desperate enough to try anything.

'...I guess I could give it a try."
