[She has no idea who Flora is. She'll have to remember to ask when she's not feeling so sick to her stomach over this.
It doesn't even seem to bother him.]
I-I'm fine, but I...I think the scientists' illusions are changing.
[Understatement.
She reaches for the doorknob of the house just then, trying to smile at him.]
Would you like to come in...?

So she pushes the door open and shuts it behind him once they're both in, leading him to the couch and coffee table.]
Ah...sorry. I'm not sure we have much in the way of food. But if you're hungry, I can see what's in the fridge.
[She certainly won't be eating any time soon.]

[Another attempt at a smile, then. She's just trying to be a good host, but she doesn't have the energy to insist like she normally might. Besides, the thought of food is not a pleasant one right now.
So she decides she'd better move on.]
Oh...and it was nice of you to escort your friend. You said her name was Flora?
[She's assuming she already made it safe and sound to her friends.]

Yes, she was given quite the startle earlier. I thought a visit would keep her mind of things.

[She frowns, averting her eyes for a moment, thinking.] So...she's seen them as well?
[Because she's going to assume he's talking about the corpses, unless he tells her otherwise.]

I don't think anyone has missed them, based on the erratic network messages. ((he huffs, trying ton conceal a certain level of anger.))

Ran can detect some of that, though she isn't entirely sure why.]
T-That's true. A lot of people have been...seeing faces they recognize, apparently. [She's not sure she wants to admit yet, that she's one of them.]

((biting down. biting down very hard.
He shakes his head lightly.)) Forgive me. ((the look of apathy returns all over again... but he can still feel the soreness in his jaw.)) Forgive me. I do realize that is the case.

Well--that much, she can understand. She--she's mad about it too, even though she's too preoccupied to think about it. She's just glad she wasn't doing anything wrong.]
...No. I-I think you have the right to be angry. I am, too. Because...it's working.
[At least judging from the other feeds she saw from the communicators--other peoples' reactions.]
Th-This is upsetting everyone. [So...it's not just her.]

Oh it's not like everyone isn't quick to let whole network know that, either.
((...))
I wish people would think responsibly about this.

It's taken some people by surprise. [Some even noticing in the middle of a broadcast.] But this panic is just making everything worse, and it's probably exactly what they want.
[She says it like she's trying to convince herself of that very same thing. Because she can't...
She can't flip out. N-not even after seeing that--
That probably is what they want, for everyone not to be thinking clearly. To be distracted--but from what?]
