Takao had missed most of the excitement the day before, due to being on the other side of the city with Guilmon at the time. He still had no clue what all the confusion had been about.

"Clive? What happened yesterday? I was looking at the communicator posts, and none of it makes any sense?"

"Hmm? Oh all of that."

A pause... and he continues: "I needed Luke's help without Luke asking any questions. He's fine now, really."

Takato looks very confused. "Why couldn't he ask questions? And why was everyone saying you kidnapped him?"

"IT WAS BORROWING....

A-and besides that it's... It was about Flora, and Luke would hardly approve of that particular situation. B-but he would and did accept that Flora shouldn't be living alone..."

He looks more than a little flustered.

"But why didn't you just ask him to help, then?"

He rubs his head. "Again, I really didn't want to deal with questions."

[dreamtamer]

"Why not?"

[dubiousdoings]

"Let's put it like this. Luke is already upset enough that Flora, a friend to both of us, is living with me. Upsetting him further in regards to that is not something I want to deal with."

"Isn't it better to talk it out?"

[dubiousdoings]

"Well..." he thinks of how to phrase it. "Some discussions need a lot of time before they CAN be discussed. This one is one of them."
