EVENT CONTINUATION
Tuesday morning is chilly, and the fog remains, as thick and murky as it has been. The strange, obsrtuctive behavior continues through the day, though any monster corpses that have not been collected seem to disappear.
Then, at noon, it simply...stops. No more disappearances, no more static, no more unusual shadows. The fog remains, but it seems, for a short while, almost innocent. Unassuming. Perhaps it seems a little less thick, a little easier to see through...
But whatever has been spooking the inhabitants of Discedo, hasn't been spooking only them. From the midday fog come the ReDeads, with their paralyzing screams and their vicelike grip. They wander out of the fog like lost children and immediately set themselves upon the city, large numbers of them. But it doesn't end there, because they're not alone. They bring with them our old friends, the Nurses, who had disappeared from the hospital a while ago, but now return. They wander the streets, seeming to appear from nowhere but all very obviously making their way toward the hospital.
Several seem to have made it into the building, making their way up through the hospital from the basement, though how they got there is difficult to tell.
When night falls, the reavers in the forest seem to feel this frenzy, too, and those who happen to be in the forest may find themselves face to face with them. For now, the reavers still will not leave the forest.
Through Wednesday morning, the creatures continue their assault on anyone unwise enough to step outside. In the afternoon their numbers seem to weaken a bit, and then a bit more by nightfall. By Thursday morning, the numbers dwindle to almost nothing.
But it's not over, really, because it's never over. The monsters in town have been, for the most part, hibernating through the month of August...but they're all wide awake now. Back to normal, eh Discedo?
The fog continues through to Thursday, when it seems to lighten a bit. By Friday, Discedo is still cloudy but the fog will be gone.
This doesn't mean that the ReDeads or the Nurses don't remain in the city, though: they do. The Nurses will be added to the monster list soon, and will fight to take the hospital back, living mostly in the basement there and the abandoned buildings nearby.
