After their little training session, everything Big Boss and Raiden could do was wait. He was pretty sure that they'd be able to clear out the hospital on their own, but he really didn't want to take any risks again-- after all, that had been the reason why Snake had died in the first place, so it was probably better to stick to a group this time, and people who'd already been in the hospital and were familiar with the infestation there.
Been a while since he'd actually done something like this, and he found himself looking forward to it. He almost wished Roy was here--
Nah, better not.
Sitting on a pile of debris, Big Boss glanced down at his communicator, and then over to Raiden. He'd already admitted to himself that he was taking a liking to the boy, not least because he was reminding him so much of Gray Fox, one of his closest friends. The resemblance was uncanny, and Raiden himself was a very skilled fighter and an interesting character.
Big Boss kept on brooding, and he felt slightly uneasy, but didn't let it show. He just hoped Snake wouldn't get any funny ideas and patiently wait until they got to him. Sometimes he really wished he wouldn't know his son as well as he did.
