Summary: Free happiness for all!
the log: Back in her world, New Year's was more of an event than Christmas; there were fireworks and dancing and celebrations everywhere, varying only very slightly from region to region. Her fellow League members also had a tradition of their own, exchanging gifts with each other and their Pokemon alike. It was a time to look forward to, and a great way to start off another chapter in their lives.
Discedo was an entirely different matter, though. Her friends and family were not here, and big parties were a luxury they rarely ever could afford. But that was no reason for self-pity or downhearted thoughts; even in this place, there was a lot she could do.
Ever since getting his chip out, Togekiss had been adamant on lifting the spirits, and New Years seemed like the perfect occasion for that. With nothing more than a coat to shield them from the weather, the Champion left her apartment in Latimir and set flight on the Pokemon's back, a bright smile on her face and a plot in mind. Perhaps it was time for a new tradition.
