the log:
This was the second time this week that Japan had walked down the hall to knock on this door. There wasn't anything wrong with that in particular, but it was a little strange. Thoughts like "this is the time I normally leave and so I will not have to mention it to Seifer-san" and "Ace-kun knows I can grow busy"... Was he really beginning to lose faith in the communicator locks? Well, he certainly had reason to, after all. It was just the idea of any sort of secrets, small or large, that was bothering him. But were these even his secrets? It seemed more like it was his friends who had been hiding things... ...He pushed aside that worry for now, though, slowing his walking to stop in front of the door.
While it was true he didn't know Marco very well, he was beginning to believe he could trust him. He was a friend of Ace's, after all, who had also slowly gained Japan's trust. Not to mention his personality was rather charming-- not that that could say anything about someone's trustworthiness, but it certainly aided in speaking with him. It was nice to find people he could speak with without yelling or accusations.
All thoughts aside, he rose his hand and rapped against the door twice, waiting.
