As you may have noticed with
Shinigami's post, classes are starting up again because crap we need to get this started before the FREAKING VOLCANO arrives.
Again, if you want to sign up for one, feel free to head to the
master list. If you are a teacher, feel feel to start classes ICly whenever you want. (Or just...keep teaching if you've already started. <3) (Aaaand keep in mind that even though Aziraphale is out of the city while Lieke is on hiatus, that doesn't mean you can't sign up for the class anyway.)
RIGHT. Now that the big stuff out of the way...yep, this means Susan's class is also starting up again. But, classes will be a little different than they were before the holidays. Because now, Susan has her chip out. And while Susan will usually avoid revealing her powers to pretty much everyone (and flatly deny that she even has powers if asked), the one group of people she won't hide her abilities from is...her students. And yes, she will use them in class.
The change you'll notice first is her hair. Before, it was completely wild and unmanageable. Now, her hair styles itself. Usually as a prim bun. But, on occasion, her students might see her hair change, all on it's own, from one style to another. She may also do things like walking through the door without opening it. She may suddenly appear or disappear. She might suddenly be holding an object that wasn't there before.
She can also locate anyone, as long as she knows their name. Yes, if you decide to skip school, Susan will mysteriously show up wherever you are to ask you why you're not there. And no matter how long she takes finding you, she will always end up at class on time.
You can read more about her powers
here, if you like. However, she will not be using Death's voice in class. This is an ability she uses very sparingly, so she's not going to be using it in the classroom, short of a monster or serial killer leaping in through the window and trying to kill everybody.
Also, Susan has asked Iroh if he could teach her students self-defence for an hour a day, during her class. As we haven't quite figured out the details (I'm not sure whether Iroh himself or one of his assistants will be helping out), this won't be happening immediately. But, it will be coming in the future.
On a less interesting note, I've also updated Susan's
contact post. It now has a shiny new textbox field, and a new category: Languages. Seeing as her students speak a whole range of languages, I figure it'd be a good idea to figure out who speaks what as well. So, if all of Susan's students could let me know what languages they speak (either here on on her contact post), that'd be really helpful. (Also, now might be a good time to check your other info - I am missing some stuff on some students, and I did change the formatting a little, so if I have anything down wrong, please let me know.)
