A Higurashi-style death. FOUND TWO PEOPLE.

Oct 14, 2009 10:31

THIS HAS BEEN LINDA MOD-APPROVED.

When Rika first arrived in Discedo, she came along not only with the clothes on her back but with a syringe. The syringe contains a fluid called C120, which is a suppressant for the disease called the Hinamizawa Syndrome. The non-infected would experience delusions or hallucinations if injected by it. There are various different theories on how it works because it's not very clear.

It was never shown in the anime, but in the manga, after being injected, Rika slashes AND claws at her own throat. In the TIPS for the sound novel, Shion mentions that Rika dies in a way similar to "clawing one's throat".

Rika will be taking part in the event today and will be running around with a kitchen knife AND the syringe. She won't be thinking straight at all and freaking out at people like a scared child...

What does this mean?!

I need ONE lucky volunteer who wants to be injected with it/AND WANTS THEIR CHARACTER TO DIE. Preferably someone who is unaffected or unchipped by the event. Also, they also must be willing to TRY to restrain Rika. She will only stab you with it out of self-defense... then run off to probably get piped over the head by Maka.

- Once injected, your character will suffer a high level (L5, Level 5) of the Hinamizawa Syndrome. You'll pretty much have the same symptoms as the chipped characters are having today: being inclined to kill, torture, EXTREME emotions, viewing friends as enemies, paranoia, creepyass delusions like this.

- Not only that, they will gradually scratch deeper and deeper at their neck and eventually kill themselves by clawing their own throat out. You are also giving me permission to kill your character.

- If they manage to survive past the end of the event, which is October 16th, they will continue to suffer the effects of the syndrome. And that they are still bound to kill themselves.

Who wants to get killed by a ten-year-old girl? :| And if you have any questions, let me know. I plan on putting up Rika's post by this afternoon/tonight or tomorrow. Whenever I feel like it.

Found two volunteers and decided to divide the injections. Because sharing is caring. Congratulations, Trunks and Wolfwood!
