YOUMA ANNOUNCEMENT AND PLOTTING POST
*drumrolllll* And, your five youma for the plot will be:
1. THAT FRENCH MERCENARY WITH THE SNAZZY HAT (Pip)
2. THE SHRIMPMETAL ALCHEMIST (Edward Elric)
3. LITTLE LOLI VAMPIRE (Flandre)
4. COLORBLIND FISHERMAN (Tir McDohl)
5. ...I forgot. 8D (Canada)*

AND NOW IT'S TIME TO PLOT.
For Youma:
They all arrived together, so they all know one another-- and even if they didn't, the scent alone is definitely a tip-off. And after respectively finding new bodies, well, they know the drill. New city. New pickings. Except here, well... they get an endless buffet.
And five characters walk back to their respective homes, maybe a little rumpled, maybe a little bloody, a little worse for wear-- or maybe perfectly spotless, looking just fine.
Youma are likely to hunt together and work together in eating, and covering each other's tracks-- and if they don't already have CR with one another, fake some. One might distract a person while the another kills them. They might attack CR in a fit of hunger, or deliberately target strangers out on the street. They might act impulsively, or, if one takes charge, plan far ahead. They don't need to feed every day-- maybe once every couple of days, maybe more if they are greedy, maybe less if they're trying to be discreet. Powerful, intelligent ones might strike out on their own, if necessary, but otherwise chances are that they'll be working together. They tend to transform to attack-- but hey, if they've gotten the body of someone particularly strong or powerful, why bother?
That doesn't mean that they are loyal, of course. If one is close to being discovered, another might toss him under the wagon, before they're all found out. And they'll all do it in an IC way-- pointing fingers, defending one another, muddying up public opinion, and acting just like their old selves while at it. Worst comes to worst, they might even jump bodies-- find another person to impersonate (though that will have to be cleared with me/mods first!)
(Random things people have asked:
- the character will have no memory after the youma attacks and eats them
- After death, the youma will revert to its true form. That's the uh, only foolproof way of figuring out who is really a youma.)
There is a youma plotting thread down there for you ~ Plot with each other. Plot with your CR, with total strangers. Eat people, don't get caught. 8D
OTHERS:
... can attack, can be attacked, can discover youma and bodies alike, and blame and be blamed for their deaths. Some might even be able to detect the demonic energy leaking off some of those youma-- but you'll have to convince the general populace that you're right, of course, and that you're not trying to shift the blame from yourself. (Note, of course, that youma will only eat humans. Since that line might be a little blurry in Discedo, just ask me.)
Assume that all deaths are mod-approved, but fill out a death permission form anyway. Please tell me on this thread or over IM if you and another player have worked out something, so we can space them out a little over the next week/two weeks (ie. we don't have a half dozen people dying in a day, or a single youma offing three people at once).
Don't be scared to let your youma get caught, in or out of transformation-- if necessary, there are four others out there willing to offer an alibi, or paint the other character as crazy. Play the blame game, frame one another, have a bloody witch hunt, and vote people off the island, if that's how it works out~ 8D
IM me at OneWinged Ange17 or post here for questions and clarifications and all that jazz! The plot technically starts tomorrow-- or tonight at midnight, but expect a grace period of a day or two while the youma grow accustomed to their new surroundings and plan together-- or apart, as the case might be. DISCUSS DEATHS AND PLOT THINGS WITH ME, PLEASE! This be so we can space shit out, and not make it too overwhelming. XD;
Also, there will be another plotting post about halfway into the plot to wrap things up. Which means I will leave off spamming the ooc for about a week. XD
