Chip Event
Hello Discedo! So after a year, Kresnik here will have his chip removed for the first time. This means he'll finally have access to his ARM. Unfortunately though, he won't have much control over it when he first uses it. This will be occurring on December 13th.
After his initial sickness wears off, Kresnik will be out a few days later to test out the formation of his ARM, which is basically a large gun made out of nanomachines. Unfortunately, forming his ARM will cause something known as a "Resistance Impulse" to occur. Basically in his canon, a Resistance Impulse is when the body rejects the ARM as a foreign material and a backlash occurs. Normally, Kresnik's Resistance Impulse only hurts him, but after not using his ARM for such a long time and the unstable effects of having a chip being removed...the result will be much greater.
On the morning of December 13th, he'll form his ARM in Horizon Park when the Resistance Impulse will occur. Him and his ARM will glow red and he’ll start shaking before a red energy completely surrounds him. Large red electric balls will then come out from the energy and fly out, destroying anything it touches.
While people will notice the red energy balls that are flying around Discedo, characters can also be hit by one of them and if they do, he or she will be injured or killed by the attacks. Getting hit square on by one of these attacks will kill a normal character while partially being glazed by one will cause burns/electrocution. It’s also possible for characters to get hurt by the fallen debris of the buildings being struck by said electric spheres. If you plan on having your character die, please comment saying so.
Any building that is struck by an electric sphere will shake slightly, so a character inside can wonder if it's an earthquake or something. If this happens, tell me which building he/she is in since it will be damaged and Kresnik will try and fix it later.
In addition, if there's any character that wants their apartment be partially destroyed by one of these attacks, please comment here as well. Kresnik will be feeling pretty guilty about all this later, so he'll help rebuild your apartment if it gets struck.
These energy blasts will continue until someone finds Kresnik at the park and stops the Resistance Impulse by knocking him out. The red energy will be around him the whole time, but for some reason, it won’t hurt a character if they go into it. It’s only the electric balls that shoot out from the energy that will damage people/buildings.
This entire thing will only last one day and Kresnik will be out of commission for the rest of the day when he's knocked out. Someone, the person/people who probably knocked him out, can inform the others who was responsible for this whole fiasco. The next day, Kresnik will make a post on the communicator apologizing for what happened, but feel free to yell at him or whatever when that happens.
I'll be setting up a log with Kresnik in Horizon Park where the characters can go and knock him out. Otherwise, feel free to make your own post!
