Naru-approved chip event!

May 18, 2009 11:01

Alright guys. Sakura will be getting her chip out on Tuesday, the 19th. Why does this matter? Well, from Wednesday to Friday, her cards are going to be out of control.

What does this mean for you guys?

On Wednesday, the Fly, Watery, and Wood cards are going to be out of control. Fly will be doing its namesake and allowing people to fly throughout the day. They can either have complete control over their flight or have no control over the flight whatsoever; that's up to the player. Watery will be causing rain to fall around the entire city. Wood will be causing plants to grow. The plants will range from trees and bushes to ivy, and the growth will be scattered across the city, but not in any extremely large quantity.

On Thursday, while the Fly, Watery, and Wood cards will be back under control and their side effects will cease, the Glow, Dark, and Maze cards are going to be out of control. Dark will cause the city to fall pitch black for the duration of the day. Maze will produce random mazes scattered across the city. They will quite literally be stepped into-- one step, you're still in Discedo, the next, you're in the maze. While in this maze, it's still possible to communicate with people through your communicator, but it will be as if the individual is in a new world; it will be impossible to see or be seen until the individual finds their way out of the maze. Individuals may find themselves stuck in the same maze simultaneously, but once someone is in a maze, no one else can enter. The mazes will also be pitch black, however; Glow will be providing small bursts of light for the city. Picture fireflies. They'll be helping people see objects and manage their way through the mazes.

But that's not all! On Friday, the effects of the Dark, Maze, and Glow cards will cease; however: Sounds of thunder from the Thunder card will be heard throughout the day.

Finally; the Thunder, Firey, and Light cards will work together to produce Fireworks on Friday night at around 8:30 EST. following at 9:00 EST, the Flowery card will act up, causing Sakura flowers to fall from the sky for a few hours.

The signal for the start of the event will be a post from Sakura on Wednesday, so be sure to keep out for it.

Questions and comments are welcome, and thank you Discedo for being so amazing!
