I can't even begin to know how to organize my thoughts on this matter. I thought I could accept death, even if I didn't want it, but what Connor told me is...incredibly unacceptable. It isn't true death. Perhaps that might be fitting in a way. Fred was denied a true death. So was Lilah. And now I'm to share the same fate as her?

Or maybe even worse. Why would they keep me as a ghost? To regress? Best I can think of is that it's a form of torture, if the role of liaison I was forced to assume wasn't enough.

Time holds no meaning here, the dead can walk without becoming vampires, the ticking is incessant if I'm alone too long, and apparently vampires of lore have dubbed me 'naughty'. What a blessed existence.

Illyria might possibly have a field day if she became caught in this dimension.

Connor: Angel's son, and from the future. Unsure of how far ahead, nor of the details in regards this Hell-based Los Angeles, but I'll ask further. Currently permitting me to stay with him and his friend in an abandoned mansion.

Buffy Summers: Slayer. Unsure of the exact time frame she comes from, but she seemed as clueless as I when Connor first mentioned my corporeal body, so I am assuming it's from the past or possibly present.

Rupert Giles: Buffy's Watcher, former. I believe he's from the past; six years ago if my calculations are correct. It seems from what he recalls, I haven't actually shown up yet as Buffy's new Watcher. I gave him few details of what was occurring before I arrived here, but he seems incredibly wary of any mention of Angel.

Drusilla: Vampire, and Spike's former partner. No idea 'when' she comes from, nor do I care. Still as much of a lunatic as ever, and I'll need to keep a close eye on her and see what Connor knows. There's a chance Holtz never told Connor about her, or even knew of her himself.

Willow: Powerful witch. I'm aware she's here, but we haven't yet exchanged pleasantries. ...They would be awkward, at any rate.

Alucard: Self-proclaimed Dracula. Even more mind boggling, he says he serves someone by the name of Arthur Helsing, son of Abraham van Helsing. Either he's also a thundering loonie, or even the mythical are drawn here. Stranger things have happened, of course. He likes to take the form of a boy and a woman, seems to be able to heal from anything, and has dubbed me fit to feed upon, even though he claims to fight on the side of justice. Wonderful.

Gabriel van Helsing: Connor's roommate, apparently. This mansion is large, and I haven't been the most social, so we have yet to officially meet. Another descendant of Abraham? Curious.

I suppose I might just have to start looking at this vile place as home. I guess the charm is lost on me, but I far prefer what I've seen here so far over what might await me in L.A. And if I'm judging correctly, I'll be returning to the same time I left, isn't that right?

If I'm to be earning my keep, a job might be in order.
