Jamie's story rang far too close to home, as I'm sure it did for Angel. But still, every situation is drastically different, and I can't expect to understand exactly what he's going through.
At least he didn't fire us.
But this really wasn't how it was supposed to go. It's not the same as a few years ago. I'm not the same. Running Angel Investigations was different, and he really was better fit for the job, anyway.
This entire situation with Faith has gotten even more out of hand. That man's re-entry into the City is troubling. I thought nothing of him before, but the commentary he received from the others makes my blood run cold.
Perhaps what Angel and I suspected is right. But even so, what can we do? Rather...what can I do? With Angel gone, I might have to take this into my own hands. Involving Buffy might be too risky, and I doubt it's what she needs.
And on top of that, drama with the so named 'deities'? Perhaps we should make that our top priority.

Angel has left. He didn't show up at work last night, and didn't return my calls, so I checked the Hall of the Missing. A habit I'm getting weary of.
Lately, people have had a tendency of leaving the City and returning merely a week or two later, but I don't think it's a good idea to expect that. Waiting might only get your hopes up.
