The only way you'd anger her is by telling her what to do. Otherwise, she'll probably ignore you exist.

While Illyria did help us out on occasion at Wolfram & Hart, it was only when a case suited her needs, and she was much more stable then. I think it would be unwise to have her help here. Even she must recognize that.

...And the latter should be fine, now that she's calmer. But I doubt she'll be blocking any doorways, so you've nothing to fear.

However...

She's aware, but she doesn't seem to control it. At least not consciously. She claims that it's truly Fred inside of her who bursts forth randomly.
