Well, I was looking for Douglas Sirk fans who aren't drag queens (nothing against drag queens - fear I have: that drag queens will disapprove of me) and I also need an LJ Friend who will empathize with my brand-new Jarvis Cocker obsession ( ... )

I LOVE IT! What a great story!! I am without a doubt NOT a dragqueen. I too have nothing against them, but I don't know... Some of them kinda of creep me out. I am however a homosexualist... :) It's funny, I was reading your reply while watching 'Written on the Wind.' Great movie, eh? I'm thrilled your a Jarvis fan. There can never be enough Jarvis lovers. I haven't really had time to update my LJ, so forgive the lack of content. What other bands are you into?

Really? I haven't seen Party Monster yet. Actually, Disco 2000 is a title of a song that is sung by PULP (different class.) :) We should totally chat sometime. If you're on AIM contact me @ transientbursts.

well, i just assumed... it's what Michael Alig's parties were called. maybe that's where Pulp got it? or maybe... i don't know.
