Sometimes our moods do not match those of others. Can be pretty frustrating. I've been there many times. It really feels like nobody wants to have fun or just relax and do something different. You know I've been married for three years and we get along famously and yet there are those times when we just seem not to be n'synch...You need to use a lot of patience. That's the key to balance but also communication. Don't shut them out just because you feel not corresponded with your intentions and/or wishes...Before I used to think if we didn't do EVERYTHING together I couldn't enjoy it, lately i've found out we're two different individuals and our moods simply don't have to match 100% of the times. About the kids behaving in an unacceptable way: well simply don't allow that. It's good for you and good for them to put them in their place. Just because the world is not a place where you can act with such arrogance. If you're not taught at home to respect others, you'll probably be taught the hardest way outside ( ... )

Cheers hunni... I don't expect us to be together 24/7 but you know like when you ask someone something... and they give you an answer... you expect them to act upon this given answer, not to act the polar opposite...

The one thing that gets me the most is bad timekeeping... if someone says they are going to be somewhere at a certain time, I expect them to be there, even if it is for no particular reason... it's just a case of "OK, he said this time, I shall expect him this time.."

I don't like to be kept waiting... for example today, I had something planned, I expected Mike to be home by 6pm latest (like he said he would be), he wasn't home until 6:35pm and so because of this, my plans went out of the window.

Ah well, I suppose I'll just have to get used to it... not that I want to get used to it, but I suppose I have no real choice in the matter...
