Last night the lunar eclipse was really cool, I am glad I saw it. THe moon was very red and looked just like a big 3-d ball in the sky. And there was mist everywhere too!! Very cool......

I took pics of it, but they didnt turn out so hot. But it was cool that the eclipse lasted hours, I was expecting it to be only a few minutes long. But it stuck around for a long time.

I was walking home from work, sick as a dog, all the way from 29th station. If you're wondering why I would stop at 29th, you have to read my journal. I didn't even realize there was an eclipse till I noticed a family lined up on the sidewalk recording the remaining sliver of moon being engulfed by shadows. They were discussing the next occurence of a lunar eclipse, which is apparently going to be 2007. I looked at what they were filming, and man, I was awestruck...the view made me totally forget about my flu. By the time I got home, the moon was nothing more than a shadowy figure in the sky, I ran inside trying to drag Evan outside to catch the view, I finally managed to coerce him out onto the front lawn, and by then it was just starting to lighten again.

But, yeah, it was the coolest thing I've seen since the leonid meteor shower about 4 or 5 years ago, or the northern lights back when I lived in Prince George.
