On kittens

Cats can open doorknobs too - my Scamps was a bloody expert at it. We actually had to put springs on all the doors so that they'd be too weighted for him to open. :x

And Burmese are adorable, but I'll always be a sucker for traditional Siamese kittybebes of uber cuteness. :)

if I could be certain of a traditional Siamese, they'd be top of my list, but too many breeders now seem to go towards the scrawny thin, overly large ears shape for Siamese - I'm happier with stockier cats :)

I bet you would've loved either my Scamps or my Gordito... Gordito definitely has enough mutt to him to look very stocky, but has the right eyes, personality, and voice. Well, he's a tad shyer than most Siamese, but he's still a crazy little dollface.

He's back with my parents now (with the rest of his siblings and his twin (his mother)), and doing quite well... still miss the heck out of him.

I hear you about a kitty with a sense of humor, I've had a few of those. I do hope you find some good animals to share your life with again.
