Sweater and scarf

Two different items finished this week, on very different scales.  The baby sweater, ordered by my step-daughter, is now finished (along with one baby boot, but I have another to do before posting here).

Yeah, I actually had a random skein of chunky to use up when I saw the pattern, so it was definitely an, 'Ah, go on. Go on go on go on!' moment for me. :D It looks great with your adaptation too! The pattern stands out a bit more.

Thanks - as you pointed out it's a very simple pattern, all I did was change needle size, yarn weight and do three repeats in the centre rather than two. I'm pleased with how it came out!

I love that sweater! I need to find my knitting mojo. I really want to make something for my impending baby but I just stare at my yarn unable to start anything.
