But I've started thinking about Christmas gifts, because now that my employment is sporadic, I can use time rather than money for presents.  My first make is for my stepgrandson, who will be two at the end of the year, so will need two offerings rather than just one.  I found a pattern for a replica of a Prince George Christmas photo sweater, and

Thank you! Other than having five balls of wool on the go at the same time, it was pretty easy going - all knitted in one piece on circular for the body and dpns for the sleeves (bottom up).

That's pretty much the main reason I've not been bothered to do colourwork in awhile -- it does get a bit snarly, even with the mini-skeins I rigged up. But I really should do something with extra colours soon. Maybe something like the Scintilla set.
