I've had similar experiences with Classic Comics, them getting really antsy if my comics were there for more than a few weeks o_o Then I ordered some stuff from Previews magazine, they messed up my order and lost my stuff, it ended up a huge mess. I'd kept a record, so just went in with the documents, told them 'you owe me THIS MUCH', took my moneys and never went back XD In my experience the Comics 'R' Us guys are much nicer... but then I would trust your judgement because I'm sure you've shopped for comics more than I have ^^;

Mike's told me stories about them too...so I'm going to get my comics, then cancel my holds, and go to Comics R Us and get them to hold them.

I've always felt bad for getting my comics from another store. So many times I've stood in there talking to those guys for ages...

wow small world (or better yet small comic shop # in melb), I get my comics from classic comics as well.

damn, true I have had them forget some holds for me sometimes, but overall it's been ok for me.
