Gosh, I'm so going to be in trouble if those two customers don't pay their owed amount. It's not "tally telling" it's "tattle tailing". You see, a person who talks is a tattle tail. Normally the verb would be tattling. For example: "John was being a tattle tail when he told his parents that Billy had eaten the candy bar before dinner." (noun) Or: "When Denise took the doll, Samantha tattled on her to their parents." See?
