Ooh it looks so splendid! I want to go to Ireland someday - but I say that about practically everywhere. Except Mexico, I don't think I've ever said I want to go to Mexico. Which is odd because I live next door to it.

Anyhow, all of these pictures are beautiful.

Haha why? I'd love to go to Mexico!

Ireland is splendid and beautiful. Someday you will go there and after that you're going to start saying "I want to go back someday".

kiitos näistä kuvista. upeita! täytyy tutustua näihin vielä tarkemmin illemmalla. irlanti vaikuttaa mahtavalta ja niin vihreältä, varsinkin tuo pieni kylä :)

my best friend was born in Dublin, I want her to move back there with me someday. "only dull people are brilliant at breakfast" is hilarious. and true, unfortunately.

Most things Oscar Wilde said are hilarious but true, wasn't he phenomenal?
Yeah I was thinking about going to work and live in Dublin or Belfast for a while, as well, but then I got into university. They have lots of foreigners living there and it seemed really easy to find a job. The rents in Dublin are horrible, though, but there's always a way!

that's a lovely white horse. the other white horses are lovely too. but I am refering to the one with the underbite and big sulky black eyes, looks like he's been crying all day, the one nosing up to Tiina's right hand (though, I'm sure you'll say it is your left hand). And, now, thanks to you, I definitely want to spend a few years deep in a forest at dusk.

But Eeva, my goodness, thank you so much for the Hungarian Postcard! I love it. And the picture is quite clearly a rustic, old-fashioned way of making Gulyas, which they did outside, it wasn't until later that people started making a dish like that indoors.

I'm sorry about the two desserts, I only wanted you to try the Puncstorta because it is sickeningly Pink. Probably tastes like bubble gum. But the Dobos Torte is truly one of the best cakes in existence. The Austrians have tried for years to claim it as their own, but everyone knows it was invented by József Dobos in 1885. Here is a very very large picture of one:

i discovered you accidentally, but what an accident it was! i just happened to find these ireland pictures of yours, and they are absolutely eerie, because for the months of june-july i was in the very same places--dublin, county clare, connemarra, galway, the aran islands, and waterford. it was so nice to see your photos, because it brought back my own memories, everything was so perfectly similar--esp. the horse and carriage on the aran islands, but i bicycled. who knows, we might have passed each other on the street.

as you can tell, we have the same icon too.

i added you as a friend. < 3

i added you back.

i know, i had really wanted to go to belfast. a few people i know went to belfast after the trip (it was a study abroad), but my homestay was outside of Ennis, Co. Clare, near the Connemara.

i def. will try to get to Belfast next time though.

glad you added me back! < 3
