I'm frustrated. I am seeing assumptions about B* being made by people who have never met a b*person. I have advised people in my own group not to engage in the witch hunt style conversations happening out in the virtual world. When one person did they were quickly attacked and buried. I think the long term outlook will end up being how we comport ourselves. Getting involved in other's assumptions will do us no good.

I had a talk with evilsexfiend Sunday. I asked him not to engage if people bring it up and to let me handle it if it comes up at Beltane.

My personal feeling on this, is that those who know us will be understanding and for the rest? If they are the types of people who jump to conclusions and make assumptions, then that tells me all I need to know about them and I have no desire to really engage. They aren't people I want in my life anyways.

Stand tall, know that regardless of the past or the actions of a few people who began this, that we are ethical people, who choose to make sure that we don't simply condemn others out of hand. We in fact, act like adults.

Beltane will be interesting. In some ways, I'm actually eager to show the world, what a true Blue Star initiate looks and acts like.
