Yeah...never mind. I just spent an hour trying to download photos off that Gateway piece of garbage. I'm back to the iBook, since it seems to know how to do it without giving me nasty error messages. I would've had a loud tantrum if I wasn't (I hope temporarily) located in the office storeroom where I know everyone would hear me

Use a very soft, lint- and cruft-free cloth with just a bit of water on it. Test a corner to make sure this is good advice (works great for me). YMMV.

I avoid any kind of non-water stuff since it almost invariably leaves a stain or smear.
