Yeah a three year old is not going to initiate a relationship, the adult has to do it. I'm VERY close with Alice because I have been there since day one. Granted I live with her which makes the situation a little different, but still - I play with her, watch TV with her, take her for walks, etc. When I was away for 'Mania, I called her every few days.
