Another loss
This is getting tough. Another person passed away today. My good friend Jamie messaged me around 6 am to tell me her mom was put in the hospital again. She's had brain cancer and was fighting it with a vengeance. However, it was just too far gone. She is now an Angel. Today she lost her battle with cancer. I'm heartbroken. Week went by
My week went by quick...Thank goodness. I can't stand my job. I really want a new one but hard to come by. I live in a very small town. There is not much here to find. We don't have tons of jobs available. I did finally get help. I have two part time associates who are doing great! Can't complain ( Read more... ) -
Guess I should do a small update...
Well for starters,my mom is doing great! Her health is amazing and she's been much happier since her amputation. It was on of the best decisions she made. I still have to look twice sometimes when I see her with only part of a leg. I'm not embarrassed or anything. Some people would be but I'm not. Chaos, weight, tired, Disney fund...
First off, mom's been home over a week now. I love having her home but it's so chaotic in my house. My dad doesn't help at all. My sister barely shows up to help. Frustrating but like I said, glad she's home. Wish I had more help. My mom is doing great though. I'm back at work 3 weeks now and it's even chaotic there. Tis the season. Six more days
In just six more days mom will be home from the hospital. She's been in six week s today and by next week it will be 7 weeks. Crazy long stay but hopefully the date doesn't change again. This is a funny one
As you all probably know, I cut back calories, only drink water, and exercise regularly now. I do not want to go through what my mom has been going through. She's diabetic and that's hereditary. While I'm waiting
On the iPod cuz mom has my kindle right now. I woke up with a really bad headache and it still really hurts. I may lay down when I go home which people that know me well know I do not lay down mid day. Definitely not normal for me. Guess have to go to the store after the hospital too though ugh. Physically and emotionally drained
I'm beyond physically and emotionally drained. My mom has been in the hospital 3 1/2 weeks now and still has not moved to rehab yet. The facility is apparently waiting for her but insurance is holding it all up. She has very good insurance so just don't get it. So June 23rd we had Riley's birthday party. Was a good party until some idiots showed up and invited all of their friends. Painful loss
Today was a day I will never be able to forget. A good friend of mine passed away at 11:25 am this morning. She left behind a husband, son, sister, and small nephew who all absolutely adored her. They announced around 2 pm about her passing, however I found out around 1 pm. Associates and I have all been keeping in touch with one another. Horrible ( Read more... )
