annnnnnnnnd we're cleared.

Annnnnnd Also i'm as high as Mike Sho and Amy Sedaris rolled into one on ecstasy. But, anyway, yeah, go see Murderball.

And also see Dukes of Hazard, for RealZorXXXXXz. Even though it's borderline racist in parts and fully sexist, it's way punny, and way worth four dollars and a two hours slice outta your afternoon pie. Skyyyyyyy rockets in flight! Afffffffffternoon delight!

[p.s. final tip: DON'T see 40 year old virgin. unless you're otherwise considering committing suicide. or unless you sneak in on literally the last five minutes of the film. the rest sUCKZorZasaurus.]

is your recommendation of dukes sincere? i fucking hope not. steve carrell is turning into the shitfest that will ferrell is becoming now.

Yeah, dukes was really good mostly because the characters were such boneheads. At moments they were charming in a humorous, cartoonish sort of way too. I thought it entertaining, by and large, but would definitely be better to see with someone that likes punny humour and making fun of people's esoteric mannerisms and indiosyncrasies.

Yeah, it seems Steve Carrell is turning into Will "shitfest" Ferrel. But who knows, maybe he'll pull a 180 on us and turn his shitfest into a pizza party. In some ways he's doing the opposite of Will Ferrel..starting out pretty mediocre...maybe he'll fry up as a big fish in the end. I'm not too impressed so far, but I'll keep my mind open...

I do loves me some Will Ferrel!

He tickles me even in a relative crap-fest like "Lil' Superballs" (or whatever that crummy kid's soccer movie was called), and his cameo was the best part of the pretty decent "Wedding Crashers".

I liked it better when he was on SNL and I could get a weekly fix instead of waiting on appearances in a couple of so-so movies a year, but hey the guy deserves to get paid.

Anyway, he's got at least a few more crummy movies worth of credit with me on the strength of "Elf" and his turn as Mugatu in "Zoolander".

It's hard for me to believe that "Dukes of Hazzard" is anything but a movie designed to goad its viewers into committing suicide, but I haven't seen it (and probably never will) so your opinion has pride of place. =D
