Don't get overwhelmed just yet. After all, you've only been in NYC for less then a week. It's easy to get your mind lost in the complexity of everything but the more you stay focused, the more likely you'll be able to tackle things one at a time. It's OK to lose a few days in doubt now and then, just don't let it turn into weeks or months.
Also, I was able to guesstimate what part of Brooklyn you're in by your subway stop and it looks like it's going to be too far from the stuff Heather and I are coming to see so it would be hard for us to crash at when we come in the summer. Of course now that I say that when the time comes we suddenly won't be able to afford a hotel in Manhattan. Still, we will definitely have to meet up and have you show us around for a day. You know what I'm saying homes?

Well, I saw that you went to Midtown on your photo album so...just how far is it to get to all the touristy parts in Manhattan? I think my memories of how long it takes the trains to run is all messed up. Is it not as far as I think?
