Honestly I almost think I'd be more suited to twitter, for entries like this that are just unrelated crap. But somewhere in my elitist soul I still think of having a twitter as a shooting offense.

#Cousins arriving Thursday. They will be staying in my room. This means a lot of cleaning for me right now.

I think if you have a Twitter you can get into a Twitter mindset. Like, you get used to not being able to express ideas beyond a certain length, and, well, that might spill over into other things. Not necessarily, but maybe.

I think at least with LJ, it's cool if your thoughts are Twitter-sized, but--given the fact that they are explicitly NOT tweets, there is always that potential for idea expansion, and therein lies worlds of potential freedom, if only psychologically.

That's an interesting point. Like, the one about the quilt up there def. went over tweet-length. This would be a decent justification for me to keep my twitter hate. On the other hand, if you were regularly writing in other places as well, Twitter could be a useful tool in terms of learning to be concise. But you probably wouldn't want to be quite ~that~ concise on a regular basis, not if you intended to be expressing anything interesting.
