Sinus infection. Lots of fun. There's nothing quite like standing in the doctor's office trying to remember your date of birth.

I don't own enough Terry Pratchett. Going to the library in this state isn't fun.

In the meantime, maybe see if there are sample chapters of books you want on Google Books or elsewhere? I find myself annoyed at the Tucson Public Library's lack of books in stock (everything I want, if even held by the library, always seems to be taken out somehow), and I have had surprising amounts of success finding bits of things and/or entire texts online for free.
